Welcome to our Community
St Hyacinthe is a vibrant and active community sharing their faith together. We are of catholic origin but welcome all people to our celebrations and/or to explore our faith.
Masses are offered most days of the week. There is an active Sunday School program for children. The Knights of Columbus are active in helping within the church and the community.
A Board of Trustees oversees church functions and a pastoral council manages all the categories that make our church community prosper (Liturgy, Christian Education, Social, Youth Ministry, Hospitality, Administration).
New Mass Schedule (Effective August 5th, 2012)
A Note from Monsignor Frechette: I am pleased to have been assigned by the Archbishop as priest-moderator of St. Hyacinthe Parish in La Salle, beginning August 1, 2012. Since I am a retired priest, with residence at Residence Saint-Antoine (connected to the Archbishop’s Residence) I am assigned, not as your pastor, but as a priest-moderator, i.e., to fulfill the exclusively priestly role of presiding at celebrations of the sacraments, at Sunday Masses, funeral masses, weddings, baptisms, celebrations of reconiliation, and thus ensure the needed theological connection between the Archbishop and St. Hyacinthe Parish
I am also keen on recognizing the fullness of the pastoral function that Sister Evelyn Pierret has been assigned to fulfill by the Archbishop, who calls on her to direct hands on, with the close collaboration of both Parish councils, the day by day destiny of St. Hyacinthe Parish.
Sister Evelyn's hours are Monday and Tuesday 10am - 4pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10am - 3pm and Sunday 9am - 1pm
I am looking forward to pray and work with her and with you all, the faithful of St. Hyacinthe Parish of La Salle.
Sunday Mass (La Salle) - 10:00am
There will be NO Saturday or weekday Masses
Sunday School is every Sunday 8:45am (before mass).
Reconciliation: as arranged with Father.
